Inventory Tracker
Basic Layout of the sheet includes six tabs: Summary, Ticket Inventory, “Other” Income, Expenses, Account Info and Research Data. The sheet is also full of Guide tabs to go over the many features of the sheet. These Guide tabs should be deleted after you familiarize yourself with the sheet.
Summary Tab:
The overall picture of how your ticket business is doing. Lots of stats and breakdowns of inventory and sales data. Also includes a pivot table that breaks down Artists/Shows by Venue.
Ticket Inventory Tab:
This is where you manage your inventory and sales data. This tab breaks out Event, Ticket and Accounting data. This tab includes a few high level stats about your inventory and sales data. The tab also includes a macro that is used to sort your data once sales are recorded.
Other Income Tab:
Many brokers have extra sources of ticket related income other than that related to selling tickets. This other income could include subscription payments, credit card rewards, affiliate sales, etc.. We have made it easy to enter this other income and made sure it is added to your monthly totals.
Expenses Tab:
Just like “other” income, to get a complete picture of how your business is running it is smart to include expenses into your profit stats. With this simple tab, all you have to enter a few pieces of data and your Summary Tab will be updated and reflect your expenses in the totals.
Account Information Tab:
This is a simple tab that keeps track of your Ticketmaster, StubHub and even Credit Card information. We have integrated sales data back to the StubHub account so you can see total sales, estimated gross revenue and actual gross revenue…useful if you have multiple StubHub accounts.
Research Data Tab:
This tab can be whatever you want. We use it to load previous years sales history so that we can look at Artist/Shows by Venue and figure out what might be a good buy.
The sheet is good to go as is, or can also be easily customized if you need to add a column or move some around. Be aware that any customization MIGHT effect formulas, so a decent working knowledge of excel would be useful if you feel like making some changes. Otherwise, we feel the sheet is set up great for anyone selling lots of tickets on StubHub, eBay and even Craigslist.
