Justin Timberlake unleashes first round of “20/20 Experience” tour dates. After giving fans a taste of his latest album on his “Legends of Summer” tour with Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake will embark on his first headlining trek in six years. Timberlake and Jay-Z have a 12-city summer trek planned, beginning with a July 17 show in Toronto and finishing Aug. 16 in Miami. Timberlake will then return to the tour trail with his own headlining arena run, the “20/20 Experience,” which kicks off Oct. 31 in Montreal. So far, the itinerary includes 23 North American stops through a Feb. 10 performance in Fargo, ND.
Timberlake released “The 20/20 Experience,” his third studio set, in mid-March. The RCA Records set topped The Billboard 200, as well as the magazine’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and has already earned double-platinum certification, making it the year’s fastest-selling album to date. More dates, including international gigs, will be released in the coming weeks. The Grammy-winning performer has plans to unveil a second related album with 10 additional songs Sept. 30, according to a press release.
