Foo Fighters Sonic Highways at Wrigley Field – Presale Info

Dave Grohl hinted to fans at the Foo Fighters’ gig at the Cubby Bear in Chicago last week that the band might come back to play at Wrigley Field next year. It turns out, Grohl wasn’t thinking wishfully. Foo Fighters will come to Wrigley next August in support of their latest album Sonic Highways. Foo Fighters joins a long and distinguished list of artists to play in the ivy including Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, and the Police. The Wrigley Field announcement is just another piece of evidence in the building case that 2015 is going to belong to Grohl and his merry band.

Grohl premiered his 8-part HBO documentary series last Sunday, which is followed the band as they recorded Sonic Highways. The premiere episode sent the band to Cubby Bear, home of the first punk show Grohl ever saw. Foo Fighters may forever be Grohl’s second famous band. It’s hard to follow up a job as Nirvana’s drummer. However, the maturation of Grohl – and Foo Fighters – since they formed in 1994 has been remarkable, and inspirational.

One Direction On The Road Again – Presale Info

Global superstars One Direction today announced additional dates for the highly anticipated ON THE ROAD AGAIN 2015 stadium tour, which will see the band perform in Australia, Japan and South East Asia in support their new album FOUR (to be released Nov. 17). The North American tour, promoted by Live Nation, kicks off on July 9, 2015 at the Qualcomm stadium in San Diego, Cali. The full 17-city North American tour includes stops in East Rutherford, Chicago, Boston, Detroit and Seattle, amongst others.

One Direction is, by many measures, the most popular band on the planet. The group has managed to sell nearly 50 million albums and score several hit singles during its four-year career. One Direction’s latest studio effort, “Midnight Memories,” was the best-selling album of last year. It’s also a social media juggernaut. One Direction has approximately 21 million followers on Twitter, which is by far the most of any band — No. 2 is Coldplay with just over 13 million followers.

Ariana Grande Honeymoon Tour – Presale Info

One week after Ariana Grande scored her second No. 1 album in her second try, the pop superstar has announced her first official North American headlining tour, kicking off on Feb. 25, 2015 in Kansas City and running through April 16th in Vancouver, BC. The 25-date trek, dubbed the Honeymoon Tour, will bring Grande to arenas across the continent and run through April 16. Grande won ‘Best New Artist of the Year’ at the American Music Awards 2013 and her debut album Yours Truly has opened to huge success releasing the singles “The Way,” “Baby, I,” and “Right There”. The album went to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 charts.

Last summer, Grande performed at a handful of intimate venues on the Listening Sessions tour to support her debut album, Yours Truly. Since then, the 21-year-old has grown accustomed to playing larger venues thanks to her stint on the Jingle Ball run last December and performances at the Billboard Music Award and MTV Video Music Awards, among other award ceremonies.

Maroon 5 World Tour – Presale Details

Multi platinum-selling and Grammy Award®-winning rock band, Maroon 5, revealed details today for THE MAROON 5 WORLD TOUR 2015 in support of the band’s fifth studio album, V. 5 Seconds of Summer Announce North American Tour – Presale Info

The season’s hottest new pop band, 5 Seconds of Summer, will headline its first North American tour next summer. The Australian boy band is currently on tour as the opening act for One Direction. The “Rock Out With Your Socks Out” tour will hit 30 cities in 2015, including Chicago, Las Vegas, Hartford, Seattle, Saint Paul and many others. Tickets go on sale at 10 AM. Aug. 9.

The band, currently supporting the One Direction Where We Are World Tour that begins its North American leg Thursday in Toronto, sold 258,000 copies of its debut album, which contains the singles She Looks So Perfect and Amnesia. The group has announced three headlining shows for this November, one in Phoenix and two at The Forum in Los Angeles. Tickets for all those shows, except for the one Forum date that has already sold out, will go on sale Aug. 9 via Live Nation.

On The Run Tour with Beyonce and Jay Z Announced – Presale Info

Hip-hop’s royal couple have officially announced the dates for their first collaborative summer tour. Husband and wife duo Beyoncé and Jay Z will be going On The Run – stopping in at least thirteen cities across America this summer.

The tour, named after their “Part II (On the Run)” single, kicks of June 25 in Miami, before going on to other big cities like Philadelphia, Dallas, Toronto, and Chicago before wrapping up on August 5 in San Francisco. The married couple have been collaborating on songs together since 2002’s ‘03 Bonnie & Clyde,’ including most recent smash hit ‘Drunk in Love.’ The tour will stop at Gillette Stadium, the Rose Bowl, Georgia Dome and MetLife Stadium. The Brooklyn-favorite couple has not announced any Barclays Center dates.

Fleetwood Mac On With the Show Tour – Presale Information

Christine McVie hasn’t ventured out on tour with Fleetwood Mac in 15 years, but she’s ready to get back on the road. Starting September 30, all five members of Fleetwood Mac — McVie, her ex-husband John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood — are launching a tour called “On With The Show.” The trek will stretch across North America with 34 shows in 33 cities. A rep for the legendary band confirmed in January that McVie was rejoining the group after her departure in 1998, and hinted that a tour was in the works.

On With the Show, starts Sept. 30 in Minneapolis, 17 years after this lineup last hit the road. McVie and Buckingham have been crafting songs for a new album. The last studio release to feature full participation from all five Macsters was 1987’s Tango in the Night.

Eminem and Rihanna Announce The Monster Tour – Presale Information

As previously reported, Eminem and Rihanna are teaming for a trio of U.S. stadium shows this summer. Today, they revealed the itinerary: they’ll play shows at Los Angeles’ Rose Bowl on August 7th, MetLife Stadium in E. Rutherford, NJ on August 16th, and Comerica Park in Eminem’s hometown of Detroit on August 22nd.

If you believe reports, the tour will coincide with Eminem’s headlining appearance at Lollapalooza, set for August 1st – 3rd at Chicago’s Grant Park. The legendary rapper is also slated to play Squamish Valley Music Festival in British Columbia, Canada during the weekend of August 8th – 10th. After four collaborations together, Rih-Rih and Em have seemed to found a perfect chemistry. Like their 2010 hit “Love the Way You Lie,” Em and Rih-Rih’s most recent collaboration, “Monster,” has become a ubiquitous hit. In an interview with MTV News’ Sway Calloway in November, Em explained what makes the two so compatible.

Queen + Adam Lambert Tour Announced – Presale Information

Singer Adam Lambert, who gained fame when he appeared on “American Idol,” will join the classic rock band, Queen, in a North American tour this summer, Lambert and original band members Brian May and Roger Taylor announced today in an appearance on “Good Morning America”. While the combination featuring Lambert with Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor appeared on “American Idol” in May and at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September, the team-up has pretty much limited its performances to Europe and the U.K. But that will change beginning June 19 in the Windy City followed by a westward run across Canada’s provinces, returning to the U.S. July 1 when the tour stops in San Jose, Chicago, New York and many more.

“I’m completely in awe of the Queen phenomenon,” Lambert said. “The thought of sharing the stage for a full set in North America is so beautifully surreal. I’m honored to be able to pay my respects to Freddie’s memory; he’s a personal hero of mine, and I am deeply grateful for the chance to sing such powerful music for fans of this legendary band. I know this tour will be a huge milestone for me, and with the support of Brian, Roger and the rest of the band, I feel like magic will be on display.”
