Miley Cyrus has announced that her Bangerz Tour will kick off mid-February 2014. The trek will begin on February 14th in Vancouver, making stops all over North America, including dates in L.A., Chicago, Las Vegas, Nashville and New York City. The 38-date jaunt will wrap up on April 24 in Long Island, New York. The tour is named after Cyrus’ chart-topping October album release, which has spawned hits like “We Can’t Stop” and “Wrecking Ball.”
Additional information, like who might be opening for Cyrus, has yet to be announced. Tickets go on sale starting Saturday, November 16.”I’m making everyone come into my world,” she added on Seacrest’s radio show. “It’s a show from the minute you walk into the door. Nothing that’s obviously traditional.” Cyrus is working with music video director Diane Martel on the creative for the tour. Martel directed Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop” video and was also the creative director of her unforgettable VMAs performance back in August. Miley said, “Anything I do I want it to be the opposite of what [everyone’s] doing.”
